Leah Schatz with MLT AIKINS with present on how to get 'Back To Business During COVID-19.'  This presentation will examine recent changes to legislation, leave provisions, and employer health and safety obligations during the rapidly changing landscape of the COVID-19 pandemic. It will include a review the legal requirements for employers regulated both federally and provincially in Saskatchewan and examine litigation risks and trends related to COVID19. Human rights considerations employers must examine related to COVID-19, employer privacy requirements, and issues related to occupational health and safety, including employer obligations related to work refusals will also be discussed. The presentation will provide an extensive overview of those areas’ employers need to consider when managing workplaces in the wake of the pandemic.
